If you get up a few hundred then put your winnings aside because the longer you play does not increase your odds of hitting it big. I play there several times a week and the RTP on the Lucky, Duck and those type machines are the best $5 machines. Since on average the max jackpot rolls around every 10 to 15 thousand spins it hardly affects the average pay back, and will just have you spend money more quickly.
The only thing that pays better is if you hit the jack and get a bonus for max bet.
Common wisdom says play the maximum on these machines. I play the single pay line $5 machines playing a single credit and tossing in a few 2 credit plays to see if I can get lucky.
